Suzanne Jones, Massage Therapist

After meeting and marrying the love of her life, Suzanne Jones made her home here in South Central PA. For 23 years, she and her husband raised their 3 children, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a bird in an old bungalow along the Conodoguinit.  She always dreamed of becoming a Massage Therapist.  But life and time conspired against her until 20years ago. Since then it has been an unfolding of knowledge. The understanding of the body, the energy surrounding it, and the soft tissue structure was and is a continual source of fascination for her. Suzanne graduated with a BFA in Communications and Art, followed with a certification in Massage Therapy and has been licensed for two years.

Suzanne has studied with wonderful  Peruvian Healers, Qigong Masters & Teachers of Hebraic and Christian Mysticism to better understand the subconcious mind and incorporate that into a Massage Practice that combines Neuromuscular Therapy with the dynamic relationship of the Fascia and Energetic Body.   She has found that touch is an essential healing tool within the paradigm of  Holistic Medicine.  Suzanne does this work with the faith that this is her calling and passion.  She has been blessed  to work here at Turnpaugh Chiropractic for 16 years.  She loves the people centered care and homey atmosphere that the office provides.  It is truly a gem of a clinic here in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Susan has long been an advocate for children, especially those with learning differences. Locally she has worked with students at Londonderry Private School and in the Camp Hill School district. Susan has combined her passion for encouraging children’s growth and development with her massage practice by obtaining advanced certifications in pediatric massage from the internationally accredited Liddle Kidz Foundation. Massage for children is an evidence-based, safe and effective way to provide nurturing touch and tactile stimulation that is essential for children to fully develop their body, mind, and spirit. 30-minute sessions are creatively customized to each unique child and require a parent or guardian to be present.

Andrew Crimmel, Acupuncture

Andrew Crimmel studied at the University of Pennsylvania where he worked in the Psychology and Psychiatry departments.  He received his Masters of Science degree at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the international scientific standard for the practice of acupuncture.  During his graduate work, he studied with Chinese, Japanese, and Korean practitioners and focused on Japanese style acupuncture during his internships.  His style is eclectic, combining Chinese and Japanese ideas and techniques while staying grounded in his knowledge of conventional Western science.  Andrew has been studying the martial arts, including Taiqi and Qigong for over 30 years.  He is nationally certified by the NCCAOM to practice both acupuncture and herbal medicine and was the third practitioner in Pennsylvania to qualify for L.OM licensure status, enabling him to practice the full spectrum of traditional Chinese medicine.
